The importance of Money
If you ask someone what their biggest foe is, they will usually say money. Money, money, money. It’s at the center of everything in this world it seems. If you don’t have it, you’re miserable about not having it, and apparently it’s the same when you have lot’s of it. Hm, I don’t know about that one, I wouldn’t mind putting that one to the test. Good bye payday loans, hello Bahamas!!
Well, you can fantasize all you want about having lots of money and happiness, but according to studies, money does not make you happier. Like I said before, I would like to put that to the test. According to several studies done in recent years, it shows that people who have more money, tend to be more stressed out because they have more expenses. In most cases, the more money you make, the more you spend. There is also the fact that the more money you have, the less time you have to be free, because majority of wealthy people are quite busy running successful firms and businesses that they rarely take the time to stop and smell the roses, as they say! Another obvious reason stated, is that the wealthier you are, the higher likely you are to have co dependent people around that constantly “need” something from you. Whether they are you kids needing money for education, or your long lost cousin who needs to get bailed out of jail, they always seem to be around.
So before you get all excited about that windfall, remember that money doesn’t bring you happiness, only you can do that for yourself. If you happen to have both money and happiness in your life than you are truly ahead of the game, just don’t forget to take some time to smell the roses, and enjoy all of that hard earned money. Life is short, make the best out of it. Oh and while I’m at it, can you lend you a couple of bucks?? Thanks ; )
